Fausto de Veldugo! sigue inspirado, en su "serie-hippie", y ahora le toca el turno al movimiento "Jesus-freak", dice:

"(...) El término Jesús Freak (que en español sería como FANATICO de JESUS o "Loco por Jesús") originalmente era una marca peyorativa, pero los hippies del Jesus Movemente se apropiaron de él. Ellos mantenían muchos de los manerismos y costumbres hippies pero cambiaban el contenido. De hecho, amor libre (que en realidad era sexo libre) paso a ser amor llibre por Dios y por la gente; frases como "ONE WAY" (Un Camino) suplantó su foco de lo individual y pasó a enfocarse en Dios; "Just Drop Jesus" desplazó la frase "Just Drop Acid". Jesus People, como se les llamaba a los hippies del Jesus Movement, se conocían por ser abiertos y honestos. Eran primitivistas en su teología, buscando un retorno a la vida original de los primeros cristianos. Hicieron un llamado a volver a la simplicidad, a hacer votos de pobreza y estaban en contra del materialismo. Eran fuertes en proclamar el evangelio. Lo que les faltaba teologicamente lo complementaban con un celo por Jesús y amor por el prójimo.(...)"
